About the Event

Standing Up for Factory Workers in Manesar

IMT Manesar is one of the largest industrial zones in Haryana, home to thousands of factory and manufacturing workers from across the country. Ram Gopal Foundation conducted this outreach programme at Labour Chowk, Sector-7, to connect directly with workers at their gathering point.

Many workers in this zone face issues like unpaid wages, denial of PF and ESIC benefits, excessive working hours, and unsafe conditions. This event was specifically designed to address these challenges by informing workers of their legal protections and giving them a direct channel to raise complaints.

Worker's Voice

I have been working in the same factory for six years and never received my PF statements. At this event I found out how to check my balance online and discovered my employer had not been depositing the full amount. Thanks to Ram Gopal Foundation, I now know how to file a complaint with the EPFO.
